Schools Taster Sessions

This spring term, Melody and Kaylum, two of MPYT's young leaders, brought some fun free workshops to primary schools around Mid Powys.

They provided 15 sessions to year 5 & 6 students; visiting Llanidloes, Rhayader, Builth, Crossgates, Cefnllys and Trefonnen primary schools.

Within the first few sessions, these had quickly become the highlight of the week for both leaders and participants! Even the most shy or reluctant children were joining in by the end of the programme.

And it was effort well spent - the regular Little MPYT group now has over 30 members, almost double the membership at the start of 2026. We'll have to start a waiting list soon...
