Hi, I'm Ralph: An actor, writer & director from Glasgow, South London and mid Powys - in that order.

I first worked with MPYT in 2009 adapting and directing one of the great plays - "The Bacchae". I loved every terrifying minute.

MPYT makes me feel proud (of the young people); optimistic (for what they will bring to our world) and excited (to make theatre with them). It's important for rural young people to feel their creativity isn't a poor relation; that it can be tapped fully here where they live.

I made my career as an actor and writer, so when I direct I often feel like I'm just holding the reins until someone who knows what they're doing shows up!
